Plumbing Counter Sales Consultant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIREMENTS :
- Assist walk-in customers with plumbing and bathroom product enquiries and sales
- Provide product advice, quotations, and recommend suitable solutions based on customer needs
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage ordering of stock and follow up on supplier deliveries
- Monitor stock levels and ensure products are consistently available to meet demand
- Maintain accurate sales records and related administrative duties
- Keep a daily record (dairy/logbook) of tasks, orders, and follow-ups to ensure nothing is missed
- Support general store operations and maintain a clean, organised sales area
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
REQUIREMENTS :
- Previous experience in plumbing sales or a similar retail sales environment (essential)
- Knowledge of plumbing and bathroom products (strong advantage)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to manage stock control and ordering processes
- High attention to detail and accuracy in sales documentation
- Energetic, proactive, and customer-focused personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Must be able to maintain a daily diary/log system effectively
