KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Design and continuously refine scalable digital literacy curricula, incorporating emerging areas such as AI literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and digital citizenship Develop and implement technology-enabled teaching, assessment, and administrative processes that support very large student cohorts, including the integration of systems and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes Oversee the delivery and quality of digital literacy and higher certificate programmes, including coordination of teaching teams and data-informed improvements, and ensuring alignment with institutional goals, student progression pathways, and evolving digital capability needs Contribute to institutional research themes by conducting and publishing research, including scholarship related to digital education and large-scale, technology-enabled teaching and learning, and supervise postgraduate students Work across Faculties to embed digital capability within diverse disciplinary contexts Participate in projects targeted at community service and engagement

CORE COMPETENCIES

Ability to conceptualise and implement digital literacy initiatives at an institutional scale Proven capacity to design and facilitate teaching, assessment, and administrative processes for large student cohorts Effective use of learning technologies and digital platforms, including the integration of systems and automation of workflows Ability to integrate emerging digital competencies (e.g., AI, cybersecurity, information literacy) into curricula Use of learning analytics and student data to guide decision-making and continuous improvement Ability to lead teaching teams and work across disciplines to embed digital capability Ability to engage in scholarly reflection on teaching and learning, including in large-scale or technology-enabled contexts Minimum Requirements Doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Education, Educational Technology, or another cognate discipline) Minimum of three years' relevant teaching experience at tertiary level A sustained record of peer-reviewed research output, or clear potential to develop a research profile aligned with the role Experience in curriculum design and development Demonstrated engagement with digital literacy, digital education, or technology-enhanced learning Added Advantages Experience in teaching or coordinating large-enrolment courses Experience with learning management systems and technology-enabled teaching, assessment, or administration Experience integrating emerging digital competencies (e.g., AI, cybersecurity, data or information literacy) into curricula Demonstrated ability to design scalable or automated teaching and assessment processes Experience integrating digital systems or streamlining workflows in teaching and learning environments Experience in interdisciplinary or institution-wide initiatives Postgraduate supervision experience
