FIELD SALES AGENTS Our Client in the Telecommunications Industry is looking to appoint Sales Agents in the following areas;

Aliwal North x 1

Colesberg x 1

Cradock/Middelburg x 1

De Aar/Douglas x 1

East London x 2

King Williamstown x 1

Port Alfred/Grahamstown x 1

Somerset East x 1

This is a target-driven, field-based role requiring a self-starter who can independently build and manage a sales pipeline, develop and execute their own lead-generation strategy, and deliver against agreed sales and activity KPIs. The successful candidate will thrive on ownership, initiative, and the reward of commission earnings tied directly to their performance

WORK EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12

Proven track record in outbound sales (minimum 12 years)

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Target-driven mindset

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.

Excellent sales and consultation skills

Able to communicate in English and applicable local languages.

Proficient in MS Office and willingness to learn CRM systems.

High personal integrity

Valid drivers license and reliable transport for field activity

Key Responsibility Areas:

Sales & Revenue Generation:

Identify and sell to new and existing customers

Upselling, cross-selling where opportunities exist

Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to activation.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:

The Field Sales Agent is required to develop, own, and continuously refine a personal sales strategy. The company will provide general brand marketing, digital campaigns, and periodic promotional offers; however, all field-level lead generation and local marketing fall within the scope of this role.

Identify new opportunities, for example, new housing estates, complexes, business parks and develop a targeted approach for these areas.

Agent is expected to maintain a consistently healthy and well-qualified pipeline of leads at all stages of the sales funnel.

Local Presence & Brand:

Use and report ongoing market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, and customer sentiment from the field to inform decision making and adapt sales tactics

Conduct yourself in a way that reflects Herotels values and culture at all times

Be Herotels representative in the area

Reporting & Accountability

Submit weekly activity reports detailing prospects contacted, leads in pipeline, sales closure, and planned activity for the following week.

Accurately record all interactions, leads, and sales activity in the CRM on a daily basis.

Follow up diligently with warm leads and unconverted leads within agreed timeframes.

Ensure a quality handover to installation and after-sales teams

Key Outputs:

Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales and activation targets across new and existing customers

Maintain a healthy, well-qualified sales pipeline at every stage of the funnel at all times

Build and execute a local lead generation and marketing plan for the assigned area

Convert prospects to active subscribers within agreed timeframes

Submit accurate, timely weekly activity reports covering prospects contacted, pipeline status, sales closed and planned activity

Keep CRM records of all leads, interactions and sales activity complete and current on a daily basis

Provide reliable, current market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing and customer sentiment to support area planning

Deliver a complete, quality handover of new subscribers to the installation and after sales teams
