Cost Accountant (Inventory Control) - Manufacturing

A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a Cost Accountant with strong cost accounting and inventory control experience to join its fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for landed costing, inventory valuation, stock integrity, variance analysis and management reporting, while leading a small cycle counting team.
Requirements include (but are not limited to)
- BCom in Accounting, Cost Accounting or Management Accounting, with 3–5 years' cost accounting and inventory control experience within a manufacturing environment essential.
- Strong SYSPRO ERP experience, with proven experience in import/landed cost calculations, inventory valuation, reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and reconciliations, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with stock control processes, cycle counting and team supervision, together with the ability to develop and document clear, practical SOPs and improve inventory control processes.
- Confident communicator who can work effectively in a high-volume, high-pressure environment with stakeholders at all levels; CIMA progress/qualification, AI tool proficiency and Johannesburg South/East Rand location will be advantageous.
