Marketing Manager

Duties:

• Lead and develop the Media team, including Digital & Content Managers and Social Media Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.

• Set quarterly and annual marketing strategies for TLB Media across all revenue streams and client brands.

• Build and maintain relationships with agencies, freelancers, and media partners to optimise content, photography, and digital campaigns.

• Oversee marketing strategies for the company brand across 86 locations in five countries, including launch campaigns and brand activations.

• Develop go-to-market campaigns, ensuring alignment with retail cycles and cultural moments.

• Lead marketing and brand activation for the companys professional barber equipment, focusing on B2B sales.

• Manage seasonal campaign calendars and ensure compliance with brand standards across all franchise locations.

• Own and expand the company's social media presence, engaging a community of over 200,000 followers.

• Create and sell sponsorship and advertising packages to third-party brands, negotiating partnerships and sponsorship deals.

• Develop external relationships with advertising agencies and media buyers to integrate Media inventory into wider media plans.

• Collaborate with franchisees to execute localized marketing campaigns and develop franchisee marketing tools.

• Drive customer engagement through database marketing, segmentation, automation, and targeted campaigns.

• Establish the companys reputation as a leading advertising network in South Africa.

• Identify new revenue streams such as events, influencer activations, and branded content.

• Develop partnerships for technological and infrastructural scale to enhance digital advertising capabilities.

• Support the development of strategic long-term plans with senior leadership for market expansion.

Requirements:

• 810+ years in marketing, media, advertising or brand management.

• Minimum of 3 years in a senior management role.

• Proven experience in managing budgets and generating revenue.

• Strong background in advertising sales, sponsorships, or media revenue.

• Demonstrated ability to build and lead marketing teams.

• Strategic thinker with commercial acumen.

• Proficiency in content strategy and analytics.
