Our client operates an inbound DMC specialising in curated Southern African itineraries for international tour operators, wholesalers and travel agents. The core focus is South Africa, covering Cape Town, the Kruger and Victoria Falls, with select East African add-ons. Alongside the DMC, the group operates a collection of luxury safari lodges in the Kruger area, with a strong international client base across the US, Europe and the Middle East, and further properties in the pipeline. This is a senior commercial role not a traditional lodge Sales Manager position. Our client is looking for a strong business developer and relationship builder who can actively open doors internationally, convert relationships into business and help grow the DMC and lodge client base across key source markets including the UK, Europe, USA, Middle East and India. The role may also involve building and leading a reservations and sales team as the business grows. ??? ???????????????? Develop and execute the group's international sales strategy across both the inbound DMC and lodge portfolio. Build; manage and grow relationships with international tour operators, wholesalers and travel agents across key source markets (UK, Europe, USA, Middle East, India). Drive FIT, group and series business for the DMC, focusing primarily on South Africa Cape Town, Kruger and Victoria Falls with select East African add-ons. Contract the lodge portfolio with international partners and ensure competitive positioning in key markets. Represent the group at key international travel trade shows and conduct sales roadshows and market visits. Develop new source markets and strategic partnerships to grow international revenue. Build and manage a measurable international sales pipeline; report on performance against targets. Build and, over time, lead a reservations and sales team in support of international growth. ???????????? Solid experience in the inbound DMC industry and preferred luxury safari and hospitality An established network of international travel-trade relationships, ideally across UK, Europe, USA, Middle East and/or India. Commercially driven a genuine business developer and relationship builder, not an administrative sales person. Proven track record of opening international doors and converting relationships into business. Experience with FIT, group and series business. Will consider a highly experienced senior candidate or a strong, ambitious International Sales Manager ready to step into a leadership role.
