SUMMARY
Our client based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join their team.
The Junior Project Manager is responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination and successful delivery of electrical engineering projects. The role supports the Project Management team by coordinating project activities, maintaining communication between clients and internal departments, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 Accredited Project Management qualification Electrical Engineering qualification (advantageous) 1-3 years' experience in Project Management, Project Coordination or a similar role. Experience within the EC&I industry would be advantageous. Basic knowledge of EC&I installations. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. Basic understanding of project planning and scheduling. Valid driver's license. Willingness to travel to client sites when required. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the planning and coordination of electrical engineering projects. Manage allocated projects under the guidance of the HOD or Senior Project Manager. Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules and documentation. Coordinate activities between Design, Workshop, Installation and Support departments. Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates. Attending client meetings and site visits where required. Build and maintain professional client relationships. Identify project risks and escalate concerns where necessary. Assist with project variations, amendments and quotations. Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date. Assist with project close-out documentation and client handovers. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with company quality standards.
