Professional Engineer - Municipal Infrastructure

Our client is seeking a professionally registered Engineer with strong experience in municipal infrastructure projects to join their Gauteng team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of post-registration experience and a proven ability to deliver infrastructure projects within the municipal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional engineering services on municipal infrastructure projects.
- Lead and manage engineering design and project deliverables.
- Develop practical and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
- Prepare and review technical reports, designs, specifications and tender documentation.
- Liaise with municipalities, clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance throughout project implementation.
- Ensure engineering work complies with relevant standards and statutory requirements.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines and technical deliverables.
Requirements
- BEng / BSc Eng degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr Eng is essential.
- Minimum 5 years' post-registration experience.
- Proven experience in municipal infrastructure.
- Strong technical design and project management capabilities.
- Experience working with municipal clients and infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication, report-writing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
