Marketing Associate

About us:
We are an impact-driven fintech on a mission to help people make better decisions about their money. We're passionate about making a real difference to people's financial lives across the UK - 11.5 million Britons have less than £100 in savings, and many don't know where to start with their pension. Our SaaS platform is sold to employers who offer it as an employee benefit, and since launching in 2021 we've grown steadily and built a loyal client base.
We're now looking for an organised, curious marketing operations associate to help us run a smarter, more consistent pipeline - and grow with us as we scale.

Introduction to the role
This role sits at the engine of our marketing function. You'll be the person keeping our marketing outreach systems running, our CRM clean, and our content pipeline moving - the operational layer that ensures the business pipeline is healthy and growing. We're increasing our use of AI across all marketing processes, and you'll be expected to embrace it and take real ownership of how it's used within the areas you manage. The work is hands-on and process-driven, and an individual with this mindset will thrive.
We're looking for someone with 2-4 years of relevant experience who's ready to take real ownership from day one. For the right person, there's a clear path into broader marketing and demand generation responsibility - this isn't a role you'll outgrow quickly, it's one you can genuinely grow into.

Responsibilities
Outbound marketing operations
• Manage outbound email campaigns end-to-end - building lead lists, uploading sequences, and keeping campaigns running cleanly
• Triage responses from outbound activity including out-of-office replies, wrong-person redirects, and warm leads requiring follow-up
• Research and build prospect lists using lead intelligence tools, LinkedIn, and public data sources
CRM and data hygiene
• Keep our CRM accurate, well-organised, and up to date - contacts, lifecycle stages, deal records, and list segmentation
• Pull regular pipeline and campaign reports to support monthly and quarterly reviews
• Support the broader team with clean, reliable data across marketing and sales systems
Content and collateral support
• Produce and update sales materials including scheme one-pagers, brochures, and presentation decks using existing brand templates
• Help schedule and coordinate social media content
• Support the production of email newsletters and campaign assets
• Assist with social media (LinkedIn) campaigns, including ideation, scheduling and analytics
Marketing coordination (secondary)
• Assist with event logistics, research, and follow-up coordination
• Help track and organise inbound leads, ensuring nothing sits unactioned
• Take on ad hoc requests from the marketing and sales team as needed

What we're looking for
• 2-4 years of experience in a marketing, operations, sales support, or administrative role - ideally in a SaaS or B2B environment
• Strong written communication skills - you write clearly and know how to follow a brief
• A naturally organised person who takes pride in accuracy and follows things through
• Comfortable picking up new tools quickly - we use a range of marketing and CRM platforms
• Comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day work — you see them as a way to problem solve, make processes faster & efficient and stand out in an AI content driven world
• Proactive and solutions-oriented - you flag problems early and see them through
• The kind of person who wants to understand why something works, not just complete the task

Nice to have
• Familiarity with CRM or email marketing tools
• Experience supporting a sales or marketing team in a B2B context
• Background in fintech, HR tech, or employee benefits
• An interest in demand generation or growth marketing as a career direction
