New Business Development Manager

The Steak People, owners of iconic prime steakhouse brand Butcher Boys are recruiting for a NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, reporting to the Shareholders.
The Butcher Boys brand is 26 years old and was acquired two years ago by Kevin Hedderwick and Jorge Ferreira, both steeped in the SA food service business.Since acquisition, they have successfullygrown the footprint from two prime steakhouses to five, with an exciting extension into Gauteng, where they recently opened their latest flagship site in the Mushroom Farm regional centre within Kyalami.
As part of the acquisition process they have invested significantly in reviewing every customer touch point and the brand is now ready for sustainable national growth.
Not only do the shareholders have ambitious plans for the current brand and format but also several other exciting concepts currently being explored.
Key responsibilities will include:
Working with and building relationships with landlords.
Finding suitable retail sites.
Negotiating leases.
Commercially exploring new trading formats and concepts.Requirements:Strong track record of working with landlords backed up by references
Previous food service experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Highly energetic and hard working.
Results driven.
Fanatical attention to detail.
Financial and computer literacy.
Strong presentation skills.
Excellent inter-personal skills.
Own transportation
