Location: Remote (UK time zone and working hours)
This role is focused on supporting senior-level executive search mandates within the manufacturing and engineering sector, working closely with UK consultants to identify, engage, and manage high-quality candidates. You will work closely with UK-based consultants, supporting senior-level mandates by identifying, engaging, and managing high-quality candidates across engineering, manufacturing, and automotive industries.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of relevant recruitment experience (manufacturing, engineering, automotive, or similar) — non-negotiable
- Proven experience delivering senior/leadership-level searches (not volume/contingency)
- Comfortable with direct headhunting and engaging passive candidates
- Strong written communication (client-ready candidate summaries)
- Highly organised and methodical, able to manage multiple assignments
- Genuine interest in the sector and how industrial businesses operate
- UK market exposure is advantageous
- Flexible, team-first mindset
- Reliable home office setup with stable internet
- Comfortable working UK hours (GMT/BST)
What You'll Be Doing
- Executing end-to-end search delivery: research, headhunting, longlisting, screening, and shortlisting
- Building and maintaining detailed talent maps across relevant sectors
- Conducting competency-based telephone and video interviews for senior candidates
- Writing candidate profiles and presenting shortlists to the consulting team
- Managing candidate relationships throughout the process (first contact to offer stage)
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and contributing to market intelligence
- Collaborating with UK-based consultants to translate briefs into search strategies
- Supporting additional recruitment process tasks as needed in a small team environment
Additional Context
- Primarily a 180° role focused on delivery
- Commercial/client acquisition handled separately
- Role requires adaptability — responsibilities may vary week to week in a boutique environment
