The organisation is recruiting a In-Service Trainee HR for its Kimberley operation. The role forms part of a wider in-service training portfolio across Northern Cape.

Overview

This In-Service Trainee HR role has been briefed against a clear set of outcomes for Kimberley. The successful candidate will work alongside an established team and will be expected to contribute meaningfully to the in-service training pipeline across Northern Cape.

Importantly, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Kimberley team on trust, and the In-Service Trainee HR role will feel that from week one.

Core Functions

  • Build a professional portfolio of evidence for your qualification
  • Attend on-site and online learning sessions linked to your qualification
  • Comply with all company policies, codes of conduct and safety rules
  • Complete assessments and submit deliverables on time and to standard
  • Network with internal and external stakeholders during projects
  • Maintain a workplace logbook in line with your institution's requirements
  • Capture data, prepare reports and assist with departmental administration
  • Participate in team meetings, planning sessions and problem-solving forums

Essential Criteria

  • Currently studying toward a recognised qualification at NQF Level 5 or higher
  • Commitment to youth-development and transformation objectives
  • Clear criminal record verified through approved screening
  • Strong academic record in your chosen field
  • Available for the full duration of the placement
  • Reliable transport to the placement location
  • Available to commit to the full duration of the in-service placement
