Senior Application Support Engineer

Our client is seeking a technically strong Senior Application Support Engineer to take ownership of complex enterprise client deployments. This is a hands-on role spanning application diagnostics, desktop technologies, .NET, networking, security and cloud observability, with a strong focus on resolving issues end to end.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in technical support, solutions engineering, platform engineering or a similar technical role.
- At least 2 years' client-facing experience.
- Hands-on C# experience, with the ability to read and interpret code, stack traces and logs.
- Strong Vue.js and Electron diagnostic experience.
- Working experience with Angular, including components, services, routing and state.
- Ability to work from the command line across Windows and Linux.
- Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting .NET applications.
- Proven experience diagnosing enterprise networking and environment issues.
- Proficiency with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Experience conducting remote installations and technical walkthroughs with enterprise IT teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and a strong sense of technical ownership.
Advantageous
- Azure networking knowledge, including VNets, NSGs, private endpoints, Azure DNS and Application Gateway.
- Electron packaging, auto-update and code-signing experience.
- Linux administration, including systemd, journald and package management.
- PowerShell and/or Bash scripting.
- Enterprise certificate and PKI management.
- Azure AD/Entra ID, SAML or OIDC experience.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104 or AZ-204
