This opportunity is designed for a Financial Accountant who has completed articles and is ready to build on their post-articles experience. You'll gain exposure to the full finance function, working alongside experienced professionals while supporting key financial and commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory financial reports and ensure the accuracy of financial information across the business
- Analyse financial performance, identify variances, and provide insights to support commercial decision-making
- Manage fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee VAT, tax compliance, and ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements and assist with audit requirements
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles (essential)
- Minimum of 2 years' post-articles experience
- Oil, gas, and chemicals industry experience (essential)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP systems proficiency
