Industrial Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Transition engineering designs and data into production, ensuring manufacturability and seamless implementation.
• Develop scalable and repeatable manufacturing processes for new products.
• Participate in the engineering release process and ensure industrial and process engineering requirements are met.
• Review and approve product sub-systems for build feasibility.
• Develop detailed production line process models and manufacturing workflows.
• Investigate and resolve production line issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Conduct time studies and production line optimisation initiatives.
• Optimise workflows, layouts, and production processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work methods.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to align manufacturing objectives with business goals.
• Maintain accurate process documentation, reports, and operational performance records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving opportunities across manufacturing operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or BTech in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 years' post-graduate experience in Industrial or Process Engineering.
• Manufacturing experience, preferably within the automotive or related industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and production line dynamics.
• Experience conducting time studies and production line optimisation.
• Advanced SYSPRO knowledge, including master data management, customer fields, scripting, reporting, optimisation, and system customisation.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Crystal Reports.
• Strong exposure to component manufacturing environments.
