Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage consulting projects focused on operational improvement, supply chain optimization, and process re-engineering.
Analyze client operations to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for enhancement.
Develop and implement strategies for lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence initiatives.
Drive change management efforts to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
Conduct performance benchmarking and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.
Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders at all levels.
Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and project outcomes to senior management.
Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering their development in operational consulting.
Contribute to the development of the firm's intellectual capital and service offerings in operations.
RequirementsA minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting, operations management, or a similar role with a focus on operational improvement.
Demonstrated expertise in applying operational excellence frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects from conception to completion.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in data analysis and process modeling.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Experience in developing and implementing change management strategies.
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
Familiarity with the industrial landscape in Vereeniging, Gauteng and surrounding areas is advantageous.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed for the hybrid role.
