We're looking for an experienced IT Solutions Specialist to join a growing technology team, where you'll work closely with clients to design, present, and deliver tailored IT infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.

This is an exciting client-facing opportunity for someone who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You'll inherit an established client base while also identifying new opportunities to grow long-term managed services partnerships.

About the Role

As an IT Solutions Specialist, you'll collaborate with sales and technical teams to understand client requirements, design fit-for-purpose technology solutions, and support the successful delivery of projects that create real business value.

You'll play a key role in growing recurring managed services while acting as a trusted technology advisor to your clients.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Client Engagement

• Partner with clients to understand their business objectives, technology challenges, and infrastructure requirements.
• Conduct discovery sessions, site assessments, and technical consultations.
• Design tailored IT solutions that align with client needs, budgets, and long-term business goals.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business benefits for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Solution Portfolio

Design and recommend solutions across areas including:

• Managed IT Services
• Network Infrastructure
• Cloud and Microsoft 365 Solutions
• Cybersecurity Solutions
• Server Infrastructure
• Business Continuity and IT Modernisation

Sales & Commercial Support

• Develop technical proposals, solution designs, quotations, and pricing.
• Deliver engaging client presentations and technical demonstrations.
• Support the sales process by providing technical expertise throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Assist with the successful closure of new business opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to expand managed service offerings and recurring revenue.

Relationship Management

• Manage and grow an established portfolio of business clients.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships by delivering exceptional customer service.
• Act as the primary technical advisor throughout the client engagement lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure successful project implementation.

Requirements

Experience

• Experience within an IT Solutions, Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, Managed Services (MSP), or IT Sales environment.
• Proven experience engaging directly with business clients and delivering technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of modern IT infrastructure and business technology environments.

Technical Skills

Solid knowledge of:

• Networking (Routing, Switching & Wireless Technologies)
• Microsoft 365
• Cloud Solutions
• Server Infrastructure
• Cybersecurity Fundamentals
• Firewalls and Network Security
• IT Infrastructure Solutions

Advantageous Experience

Exposure to one or more of the following would be beneficial:

• CCNA
• Microsoft Certifications
• CompTIA Certifications
• Sophos
• MikroTik
• Cloud Platforms
• Firewall Technologies
• Enterprise Networking Solutions
