Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a liquor store in Newcastle needs extra hands. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.
Home base is a liquor store on the Newcastle side of KwaZulu-Natal.
What your day looks like
- Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
- Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
- Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
- Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
- Collect trolleys from the parking lot
- Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
You'll need
- Able to stand and lift cases all shift
- Polite with customers and happy to help
- Neat appearance and punctual
- Basic reading and maths for price checks
- Grade 10 or matric
Extra points for
- Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
- Some till or cash-handling experience
