With expertise across more than 40 industries and all business functions, we deliver transformational outcomes for a demanding new digital world.Client Leadership & Advisory Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs and Finance leadership teams, shaping their finance transformation agenda Lead CFO-level conversations on: Finance Operating Model redesign Digital Finance and ERP transformation (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) Data, analytics, and AI in finance Translate business strategy into finance-led value creation opportunities Finance Transformation Delivery Own end-to-end finance reinvention programs, including: Financial planning & analysis (FP&A) modernisation Finance platform transformation (SAP, Oracle) Intelligent Finance Operations, including integration of: Advanced analytics and predictive insights AI-driven automation (e.g., close, forecasting, anomaly detection) Data governance and finance data models GBS design and implementation Account & Growth Leadership Identify and originate finance transformation opportunities across priority accounts Own pipeline development and conversion for Finance Reinvention offerings Shape and lead proposals, RFP responses, and deal structuring Contribute to account growth strategy and positioning of Finance as a key entry point Practice Development & Thought Leadership Build and scale Finance Reinvention capability locally/regionally Develop reusable assets, accelerators, and industry-specific propositions Contribute to thought leadership on: Future of Finance CFO agenda in South Africa / Africa Mentor and develop next-generation finance transformation leaders Key Skills & Experience Functional Expertise Deep understanding of: Finance processes (R2R, FP&A, O2C, P2P) Finance operating models and shared services Regulatory, compliance, and reporting requirements Transformation Expertise Extensive senior finance leadership experience in complex, global, matrixed organizations Strong exposure to ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle) and digital finance tools Experience embedding data, analytics, and AI into finance Leadership & Commercial Acumen Strong executive presence and ability to influence at C-suite level Demonstrated ability to originate and close deals Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary teams Strong commercial acumen with ability to influence C-suite stakeholders Comfort operating in high ambiguity, fast-evolving environments Typical Outcomes / Success Measures Growth in Finance Reinvention revenue and pipeline Successful delivery of high-impact finance transformation programs Strength of CFO relationships across priority accounts Measurable client outcomes (cost reduction, faster close, better insights) Maturity and scale of the Finance Reinvention practice Qualification Leadership Capabilities Strategic thinking with a value-creation mindset Ability to translate data into actionable, executive-level insights Ability to bridge finance, technology, and business strategy Results-driven with focus on tangible value delivery Collaborative, influential, and client-centric Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills Change leadership in AI-enabled and transformation contexts What Differentiates This Role Positioned as a value architect, not a traditional finance leader Accountable for enterprise and client value creation, not just reporting Embedded in a client-aligned Reinvention Partner model Shapes how finance enables Accenture to deliver end-to-end reinvention at scale
