The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities within an allocated territory and customer base, while building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. This role is suited to an individual with sales experience and a strong understanding of the plastics and piping industry, with the ability to work independently, achieve targets and provide excellent customer service. Job Purpose: The Sales Representative: Flow Solutions is responsible for growing sales, managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and supporting the sales process within the allocated territory.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education (essential): National Senior Certificate Minimum applicable experience (years): 1-3 years Required nature of experience: Sales and business development experience Experience conducting customer and prospective customer visits Experience identifying and following up on new sales opportunities and leads Experience preparing sales quotations and capturing orders accurately Experience maintaining customer relationships and resolving customer concerns. Experience with sales reporting, forecasting and maintaining sales databases Skills and Knowledge (essential): Strong negotiating and selling skills Excellent communication and report writing skills Strong organisational and time management skills Computer literate in Windows and MS Office Knowledge of the plastics and piping industry and markets Financially literate and commercially astute Product and technical knowledge relevant to Flow Solutions products. Other: Proficient in Afrikaans and English Own transport and license Willingness to travel as required Passion for products and customers Ability to set and achieve sales targets

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND OBJECTIVES

Sales & Business Development Conduct regular sales visits to existing and prospective customers. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, leads and referrals. Maintain and increase sales and order intake within the allocated territory. Prepare comprehensive sales quotations for customers. Monitor competitors and gather relevant marketplace information. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Identify and resolve customer concerns and problems. Maintain a strong understanding of customer requirements and market needs. Sales Administration & Order Management Accurately capture customer orders and ensure all relevant documentation is submitted. Maintain accurate sales databases and customer information. Complete sales and service visit reports accurately and on time. Ensure adherence to credit and sales policies. Submit required sales reports and forecasts regularly Product & Market Knowledge Maintain strong product and technical knowledge. Develop an in-depth understanding of Flow Solutions products and services. Keep up to date with industry and market developments. Monitor competitor pricing, products and merchandising techniques. Participate in local shows and marketing activities as required. Stock, Communication & Internal Coordination Liaise with operational departments to support maximum stock availability. Communicate effectively across all operational levels. Ensure customer requirements are communicated accurately and timeously. Work closely with internal teams to support the sales process.
