MinimumÀÂ3+ years proven external sales experienceÀÂinÀÂoneÀÂof the following sectors: 

Chemical 

• Strong knowledge of theÀÂchemical industry 

• Familiarity with: 

• Anti-foams 

• Emulsions 

• Foam Control Agents 

• Silicone Fluids (application knowledge advantageous) 

• Adhesives 

• Experience selling into: 

• • Food and beverage manufacturing
  • Dairy, breweries, wineries and beverage-processing plants
  • Meat, poultry, seafood and food-processing facilities
  • Pharmaceutical, medical and personal-care manufacturing
  • Chemical manufacturing and chemical blending companies
  • Paints, coatings, inks and resin manufacturers
  • Plastics, rubber and polymer-processing companies
  • Pulp, paper and packaging manufacturers
  • Textile, leather and related manufacturing industries
  • Mining, mineral processing and water-treatment operations
  • Automotive and general engineering manufacturers
  • Metal treatment, foundries and fabrication businesses
  • Industrial cleaning, hygiene and sanitation companies
  • Agriculture, fertiliser and agrochemical manufacturers
  • Adhesive, sealant and construction-chemical manufacturers

  Preference will be given to candidates who understand technical industrial sales, can identify customer process requirements, and have experience selling products such as silicone fluids, emulsions, antifoams, process chemicals, industrial cleaners, release agents, defoamers or food-grade chemical solutions.

Construction 

• Strong commercial understanding of the construction market 

• Proven experience sellingÀÂsealants, adhesives, bonding and plastering agents 

• Exposure to: 

• Property Development 

• Guttering 

• Glass & Glazing 

• Waterproofing 

• Cold Room & Refrigeration 

• Paint Contractors 

• Woodworking & Carpentry 

DIY / Hardware Retail 

• Solid track record selling into theÀÂDIY and hardware retail sector 

• Experience driving volume sales ofÀÂsealants, adhesives, bonding and plastering agents 

• Ability to secure listings, grow shelf space, and increase turnover

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities 

• ExecuteÀÂdaily field sales activityÀÂto maximise territory coverage 

• AggressivelyÀÂidentify, pursue, and close new business opportunities 

• Grow revenue within existing accounts throughÀÂupselling and cross-selling 

• Present technical product solutions that deliver customer value 

• Submit accurateÀÂquotes, orders, and forecastsÀÂwithin required timeframes 

• CommunicateÀÂpricing structures and increasesÀÂwith confidence and authority 

• Maintain disciplinedÀÂCRM, reporting, and pipeline management 

• Participate in sales meetings, performance reviews, and product training 

Package & Remuneration

Basic:  R20 000.00 - R30 000.00 (negotiable depending on experience)

Car Allowance : R4000.00
