Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within target markets.
- Drive revenue growth through effective customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a results-driven sales team.
- Set performance targets and monitor achievement against objectives.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing performance management.
- Develop initiatives to strengthen market presence and brand visibility.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
- Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns and growth initiatives.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business reports.
- Analyse sales performance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Contribute to strategic planning and long-term business growth initiatives.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in Sales Management, Business Development, or a similar leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's licence and passport.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Previous experience within hospitality, FMCG, retail supply, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Experience managing regional or African market portfolios.
- Established network of commercial decision-makers and key industry stakeholders.
