A high-end lodge in the Kruger is seeking a dynamic CAMP MANAGER who thrives in remote luxury environments. This intimate camp has 6 beautifully decorated suites and has been named one of South Africa's most exclusive safari destinations. As a strategic leader and hands-on host, youll oversee every detail of camp life, from guest activities and staff development to logistics, compliance, and community engagement. Candidate Responsibilities: Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the property. Ensure a high standard of guest service and satisfaction. Lead; support, and develop team members across departments. Monitor budgets, costs, and financial performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Maintain health, safety, and security standards throughout the property. Prepare reports and communicate effectively with management and stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service standards. Core Criteria: Minimum 3 years experience in camp or lodge management. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and crisis management skills. Must demonstrate maturity, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. Valid drivers licence and off-road driving proficiency. First aid training and basic mechanical/electrical knowledge are beneficial. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Kruger Park geography preferred. Familiarity with South African tourism regulations and Acts. Fluency in English; Shangaan or related African language advantageous. Knowledge of foreign languages would be advantageous. Warm; professional, and guest-centric demeanor. Adaptable; resilient, and composed under pressure. Passionate about flora, fauna, and cultural engagement Capable of working independently, handling pressure, and taking full responsibility for tasks. This is a live-in role.
