Area Manager

Job Purpose
Marshal Nights Security Services (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced Area Manager to oversee security operations within the Ladysmith region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring contractual compliance, managing personnel, maintaining excellent client relationships, and driving operational excellence while ensuring compliance with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) and all relevant legislation.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric).
PSiRA Grade A Registration (Valid).
Valid Driver's Licence (Code B).
Minimum of 5 years' security management experience.
Previous experience managing multiple sites and security personnel.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
Excellent report writing and administrative skills.
No criminal record.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all security operations within the designated area.
Ensure all contractual obligations and client requirements are met.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance audits.
Supervise, coach and develop Site Managers, Supervisors and Security Officers.
Investigate incidents, accidents and disciplinary matters.
Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
Ensure all statutory compliance, including PSiRA, BCEA, Labour Relations Act and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
Monitor staff attendance, leave, overtime and performance.
Assist with recruitment, induction and training of security personnel.
Prepare operational reports for management.
Manage company assets, uniforms, firearms and equipment where applicable.
Ensure effective deployment of staff to meet operational requirements.
Respond to emergencies and client escalations when required.
Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
