Our client is seeking a Trade Tested Boilermaker to join their Food FMCG manufacturing facility in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabrication, welding, repairs and maintenance of plant structures and equipment
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication, welding, and maintenance work on plant equipment and structures
- Manufacture and repair components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct inspections and identify structural or mechanical defects
- Maintenance and equipment modification projects
- Welding
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance activities
- Ensure fabricated components meet required quality standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area
- Comply with food manufacturing, health, safety, and quality requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- Boilermaker Trade Test
- 3 - 5 Years food FMCG experience
- Fabrication, welding, and maintenance skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with stainless steel will be advantageous
- Fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work shifts
