Qualified Boilermaker (Fabrication) for a Manufacturing company situated in Aeroton JHB. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adhere to strict occupational health & safety guidelines Follow instructions and perform other duties as required Perform routine maintenance on tools and other equipment Use drawings to construct and fabricate items Measure, mark and layout material for fabrication Perform repair work on existing steel products Weld as specified on manufacturing drawings Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file and grind metal surfaces and joints of parts that have been assembled to ensure safety and a seamless appearance.Ensuring safety is a priority on the job during all activities, including using tools and installing and fabricating metal IDEAL:Red Seal Boilermaker with 10+ years exp. SA citizen, proficiency in English and Afrikaans. 5+ years fabrication experience preferred. Basic computer literacy. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Skilled in steel cutting, shaping, fitting, assembly and welding. Measuring, marking, layout and metal finishing. Exp with repairs and fabrication tools/machinery. Quality and occupational health & safety.
