Position Details

Job Title: Senior Executive Officer

Grade: E

Number of Positions: One (1)

Responsible To: Assistant Administration Officer

Job Summary

The Senior Executive Officer is responsible to the Assistant Administration Officer for overseeing the smooth and effective running of the Registry. The incumbent ensures that all records in the Registry are securely kept.

Key Duties

• Ensures that all files in the Registry are securely kept.
• Oversees the registration of incoming and outgoing mail.
• Ensures that mail is treated properly according to classification.
• Supervises Registry staff.
• Recommends on-the-job training for Registry staff.
• Advises management on matters relating to Registry organisation and control.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Public Administration and Management, Business Management, Human Resource Management, or Adult Education plus two (2) years’ working experience in Registry.

OR

• Certificate in Public Administration and Management, Business Management, Human Resource Management, or Adult Education plus three (3) years’ working experience in Registry.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Knowledge of office (Registry) organisation and structure of the Ministry.
