Take Ownership of the Full Finance Function
A well-established business in the industrial sector is seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant to take ownership of the finance function across multiple entities. This role is ideal for a proactive finance professional who enjoys working independently, maintaining strong financial controls, and providing meaningful financial insights to support business decisions.Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reportingPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity
Manage intercompany accounts and loan balances
Monitor debtors, creditors, and cash flow across multiple entities
Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and support working capital management
Manage VAT submissions, reconciliations, and statutory compliance requirements
Liaise with SARS, auditors, and external accountants
Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Prepare year-end audit files and supporting documentation
Ensure accurate financial records, journals, and reporting deadlines are met
Minimum Requirements
? BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification (NQF 7)? 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience
? Experience within a multi-entity environment
? Strong financial reporting and financial controls experience
? Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
? Valid driver's licence and own transport
Advantageous
Experience working with SageSAIPA, SAICA, or SAIBA registration
Experience within the industrial, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or related sectors
