Group Financial Manager

Job Description:
- Leading the monthly group consolidation process and preparation of management accounts
- Managing the annual statutory consolidation process and preparation of group Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
- Planning and coordinating the group audit process, working closely with external auditors and regional finance teams
- Driving standardization of financial reporting processes and ensuring compliance with IFRS across the group
- Supporting the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of group reporting systems
- Managing head office financial accounting activities across multiple entities in the UK and South Africa
- Overseeing cash flow management, budgeting processes, and expenditure control
- Maintaining key financial registers, including risk, capital expenditure, leases, and contracts
- Ensuring robust internal controls, reconciliations, and governance practices are in place
- Providing financial analysis, investigative support, and strategic insights to senior leadership
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years’ commercial experience in a Group Finance Manager or similar finance leadership role
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, group consolidations, and statutory reporting requirements
- Proven experience in financial reporting, audit management, and regulatory compliance
- Experience operating within a complex multi-entity and multinational business environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced financial systems and reporting experience will be advantageous
