At OTIS , a leading multinational company in the elevator industry, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Durban .

In this role, your priority will be to ensure the safety of passengers and stakeholders by maintaining elevators and escalators to the highest standards.

What you will do:

• Carry out maintenance and service visits across your assigned territory
• Manage your own portfolio of elevator and escalator units
• Respond quickly and efficiently to breakdowns, aiming for first-time fix
• Perform minor repairs to ensure continuous operation
• Build strong relationships with customers during on-site visits

What we are looking for:

• Experience in the elevator industry or a relevant technical background
• Knowledge in electricity or electrical engineering
• A valid driver’s license (if required locally)
• A strong commitment to safety and quality
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn
• Comfortable using digital and electronic tools
