Accurate data keeps a private hospital records room in Durban Central running, and that accuracy starts with you. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.
This post is Durban Central-based, with most of your time spent at a private hospital records room. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.
The work, day to day
- Check every captured record against the source document for errors.
- Enter sales orders on SAP or Sage and print picking slips.
- Scan and index files so they can be found by reference number.
- Prepare simple Excel reports on volumes and backlogs.
- Hit daily volume targets with an accuracy score above 98%.
- Capture claim forms, invoices or delivery notes onto the system.
You'll need
- Basic Excel: sorting, filtering and simple formulas
- A matric pass, any subjects
- You can concentrate on repetitive work for a full day
- Typing speed of at least 35 wpm with good accuracy
Nice if you have
- SAP, Sage or Pastel experience
- Medical terminology or ICD-10 coding basics
- A Business Administration NQF Level 3 or 4 certificate
