Minimum Requirements:
- CA(SA) – Chartered Accountant qualification is essential.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Financial Manager or senior finance management position.
- Manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience working with SYSPRO ERP will be highly advantageous.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred, with chemical manufacturing experience being an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and statutory requirements.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, cash-flow management and financial controls.
- Sound knowledge of South African tax and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proven experience managing, mentoring and developing a finance team.
- Oversee the full financial management function of the business.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
- Manage cash flow, cost controls and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Provide commercial insights and financial guidance to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain effective financial controls and processes.
- Lead, support and develop the finance team.
- Work closely with operational and non-financial stakeholders to drive business performance.
