A leading organisation in Rustenburg, North West is seeking a Project Administrator to lead and deliver strategic projects. You will define project scope and objectives, develop detailed plans, manage budgets and resources, and ensure delivery on time and within scope. A certified project management professional with a strong track record is required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and acceptance criteria through quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders and develop comprehensive project charters and plans.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, maintaining registers and implementing mitigation and contingency plans.
- Estimate and manage project budgets and resources, tracking actual expenditure against forecasts and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct project closure activities including lessons learned sessions, final reporting, and handover of deliverables to operations.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using project management software, identifying critical path activities and tracking progress.
- Manage project changes through a formal change control process, assessing impact on scope, schedule, and budget before approval.
Requirements
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or Monday.com for planning and tracking.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with ability to make sound judgements under pressure.
- Strong financial acumen including experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
- A recognised project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or CAPM from an accredited certification body.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate and direct cross-functional project teams.
