Passengers in Paarl trust a school transport operator to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.
You'll report in Paarl. Relocation is not covered for this one. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.
What your day looks like
- Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
- Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
- Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
- Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
- Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
What you need
- Punctual for very early starts
- Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
- Medically fit
- Clean driving and criminal record
- Patient and friendly with passengers
Helpful, not essential
- Experience on mine or staff transport routes
- Tour coach experience with charters
