BIL seeks to employ a Bumper Repairer who will be responsible for reviewing damage reports, preparing cost estimates as well as work plans. the successful candidate will be required to inspect cars for structural damage, remove damaged body parts, including bumpers, fenders, hoods, grilles, and trim.

Qualifications & Experience

Senior certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
Valid Code 08 Drivers License
3+ years expereince in a similar role
Automotive experience

Key Responsibilities

Customer Satisfaction:
Quick response to Customer queries and resolving thereof

Operations:
Washing, waxing and buffing exteriors
Retouching paint
Ensure good Vehicle storage and handling governance according with company standard
Polishing of vehicles
Hand glazing of vehicles
Ensuring quality work is done before moving on
Repairing small cosmetic parts
Cleaning of work areas
Ensure compliance to good hygiene and housekeeping disciplines within all areas under responsibilities
Any movement of vehicles to and from refurb must be communicated with the supervisor or owner
Ensure only vehicles that have approval to be worked on is parked within the facility
Carry out general maintenance tasks at refurb
Inventory Management:
Ensure & maintain high level of Inventory accuracy of all items required for completion of duties

ISO:
Ensure processes and procedures are followed as per the customer expectation
Adheres to all BidvestIL policies and procedures

SHE:
Reporting of incidents
Ensure compliance to correct PPE at all times
Ensuring compliance to SHE procedures and standards

General:
Immediately report any irregularities to his superiors
Carry out functions and duties that may reasonably expected of him
Physical aspects: Constant hand and finger dexterity, Frequent grasping and manipulation, Constant hand and eye co-ordination, Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, stooping, reaching above and below waist, Ability to pick up heavy objects, Good vision
