Seeking an experienced expatriate Financial Director to join a dynamic team in the heart of Ghana within the mining industry.
This is a unique opportunity with a highly lucrative income structure.

This role is for RELOCATION to Ghana for 3 – 5 years, offering extended leave time to visit home. All flights in and out of country covered.

POSITION INFO:
Purpose of the Job:

As our Financial Director, you'll play a crucial role in shaping financial strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

Partner with the business to ensure that the financial strategy, policies, processes and budgets support the overall strategic direction of the business.
Comply with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements and governance frameworks.
Ensure timeous submission and analysis of required financial information and reports e.g. financial, management and statutory reports, both IFRS and OHADA/ SYSCOA.

Requirements/Qualifications:

CA/CIMA or equivalent qualification
8-10 years relevant financial experience, including minimum 3 years in management
In-depth knowledge of IFRS or equivalent standards
Familiarity with financial policies, procedures, and processes
Sound understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks
Proficiency in SAP systems and MS Office suite
Advanced business report writing and presentation skills
Strong business risk management and strategic planning abilities
