Our company is looking for a Assistant Manager Aviation Security Operations to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Compile and ensure compliance and adherence to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and inspect registers where applicable;
- Ensure compliance to ASQ and QMS targets;
- Ensure contract management in line with SLA;
- Manage the performance of staff and oversee outsourced staff and introduce remedial processed where necessary;
- Identify and implement contingency plans to mitigate identified security risk;
- Provide input into Airport Security Program (ASP);
- Chair and prosecute disciplinary procedures;
- Manage time and attendance and Conduct Resource planning;
- Manage internal and external auditing processes;
- Ensures professional behavior and application of customer service standards by all staff;
- Manage entire recruitment process;
- Provide a safe and secure environment and manage security personnel;
- Manage and coordinate activities within own area of discipline;
- Ensure crime prevention measures are in place and ensure all criminal activities are reported;
- Ensure all internal and External stakeholders comply with security policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 2 years Management experience essential;
- National Key Point Certification (NKP), Firearm Competency, (SACAA) Dangerous goods/Safe passage/Basic Aviation Security Certification (AVSEC);
- PSIRA Grade A;
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is essential;
- 4 years operational experience essential;
- Relevant Diploma is essential.
