NOC Engineer/Service Delivery Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a NOC Engineer/Service Delivery Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitoring of client’s infrastructure, according to SLA;
- Timeously responding to exceptions according to SLA;
- Monitoring centre kept neat and tidy at all times;
- Act on alarms and other associated commands or messages displayed on monitors / displays;
- Operation of network and system monitoring systems for clients;
- Perform system administration tasks and maintain the database of monitored objects;
- Develop an awareness of a wide spectrum of IT technologies;
- Standard report generated on request;
- Health checks and compilation of reports;
- First line support offered.
Requirements:
- Basic systems administration tasks;
- Advanced Office 365 skills;
- Experience in the installation and set-up of networks, servers or workstations will be an advantage;
- Basic understanding of hardware, operating systems (Linux or Windows), applications and networking;
- Microsoft Windows server — MCP level preferred or A+;
- Min. 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
