Our company is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and Maintenance of Trial Balance;
  • Updating and reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register;
  • Compile monthly accounting, loans and advances on journals;
  • Creating Suppliers and Customers on System;
  • Creditor reconciliations to supplier statements and own system;
  • Bookkeep balance sheets,
  • Maintaining Segmented Chart of Accounts for Costing purposes;
  • Processing of Journal Entries;
  • Compile and report on accounting entries,that have been incorrectly captured from the Debtors Ledger;
  • Preparing and submitting of Statutory Returns ie: VAT, PAYE & Bargaining Councils;
  • General Ledger Reconciliations;
  • Sending of customer statements;
  • Debtors – Reporting on delinquent accounts;
  • Daily and monthly debtor and supplier journals;
  • Intercompany Balancing.

Requirements:

  • Should have at least 3 years experience in Bookkeeping;
  • Must have a Degree In Finance (Non Negotiable);
  • Preferably has SAIPA Articles experience;
  • Must have sound knowledge on IT systems;
  • Previous work experience with Great Plains is advantageous;
  • 5 years Bookkeeping experience;
  • Must have knowledge on accountings systems;
  • Relevant Accounting degree.
