Our company is looking for a Payroll Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Checking and submitting timesheets to 3 rd party timeously;
  • Compiling annual bonus;
  • Assist employees with wage queries;
  • Reconcile weekly and monthly wage recon;
  • Co-ordinating monthly HR Reports;
  • Maintaining and updating all permanent and contract employee personal files;
  • Compiling all relevant weekly reports for Production Meeting;
  • Any other ad hoc payroll related duties when required;
  • Administering UIF documentation as required;
  • Reconcile staff loan ledger account;
  • Ensuring all employees deductions are correctly recorded and the relevant deductions made;
  • Process employee terminations;
  • Importing and completing the weekly wage run;
  • Calculate and pay over third-party payments timeously and accurately;
  • Loading and updating employee information on VIP.

Requirements:

  • Experience in payroll administration for a minimum of 5 years;
  • University degree in B.Com or equivalent;
  • PC proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Access), as well as VIP payroll system;
  • Experience / Exposure in international/foreign Ex-Pat salary packages;
  • Excellent Command of English.
