The HR Business Partner I uses working knowledge of the business to provide HR workforce planning support and guidance to line managers. Provides human resources consultation and support to a designated business unit. Being a HR Business Partner I utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to line managers. Analyzes trends and develops workforce plans to resolve issues and make a positive impact on business results. In addition, HR Business Partner I acts as liaison with other HR functions. Requires a bachelor’s degree. Typically reports to Supervisor. Being a HR Business Partner I gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Working as a HR Business Partner I typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.

Our company is looking for a Hr Business Partner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team drafts Job analysis in conjunction with line management to draw up accurate job descriptions;
  • Ensure all new engagements are furnished with their relevant KPI’s;
  • Manages labour disputes at the CCMA and Bargaining Council and represents the Organisation where required;
  • Consult and advise Management and staff on all labour matters and ensure timeous submission of IR reports;
  • Ensure all the on boarding process is adhered to;
  • Ensure that EE Plans are met and regularly addresses matters as they pertain to the achievement of EE Targets and Goals;
  • Develop and administer special projects within HR Portfolio to meet existing and future needs of the Business;
  • Development of career development program in conjunction with line management;
  • Ensure compliance of Skills Development is maximised to meet BBBEE targets;
  • Generate reports aligned with all key outputs for the position;
  • All statutory SETA returns and claims;
  • Effective communication with all Trade Unions to ensure good relationships;
  • Approve all warnings and disciplinary charges;
  • Manage misconduct and incapacity;
  • Ensure that the HR team is able to deliver on all deliverables required.

Requirements:

  • Experience working for a multinational Manufacturing organisation;
  • Strong Experience with Industrial relations, internal relations, labour relations, CCMA;
  • Well spoke and good written communication skills;
  • Valid Code 08 Drivers License;
  • Degree in HR preferably Honours Degree;
  • Relevant tertiary qualification;
  • In-depth knowledge of the BCEA, LRA, EEA, OHSACT, Collective Agreements with Bargaining Councils and working in a unionized environment;
  • Registered Skills Development Facilitator (Advantageous);
  • Matric.
