Our company is looking for a Store Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Hygiene and Safety which includes the management of the overall store hygiene and implementation of the company’s safety regulations;
  • Stock Management which includes ordering, receiving of stock, stock rotation, stock takes and ensuring that the quality of stock is never compromised;
  • Achieving Store Profitability by monitoring efficiencies and ensuring the pricing of goods is correct;
  • Staff Management which includes staff motivation, training, performance management, operational management and the discipline of staff;
  • General Administration which includes cashing up, banking and the analysis of back office reports etc;
  • Stock control;
  • Receiving of stock;
  • Dispatching stock;
  • Manage 5/6 people.

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable in I.R;
  • Good customer service skills;
  • Able to work under pressure;
  • Ability to manage a retail store across boundaries;
  • Computer literate;
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
  • Two years retail management experience, essential;
  • Must be energetic and able to cope with the long hours;
  • A team player, with good communication skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • 5 years retail management experience preferably in the meat industry;
  • Matric qualification.
