Our company is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports company revenue and profitability targets;
  • Maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts;
  • Take business away from our competitors and reduce churn in our base;
  • Set annual targets and meet them;
  • Monitor and report on actual progress versus plan (both strategic plans and budget);
  • Driving profitable Growth for MTN Enterprise Business;
  • Grow active partner base in region,
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service;
  • Check and / or create quotes / proposals / presentations;
  • Research competitors, including marketing strategies and pricing philosophy;
  • Manage a dynamic team of sales excutives;
  • Be responsible for end to end onboarding and enablement of fixed partners in the region;
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines;
  • Provide ongoing support and training to direct and indirect sales / service staff;
  • Build on the core business areas of water utilities, secure new partners and agreements and develop new markets and new market segments.

Requirements:

  • Matric;
  • 5-8 years’ experience in a Sales management preferably in a manufacturing, mechanical or mineral process equipment environment;
  • Demonstrated understanding of complex Screening Applications – both in terms of process and mechanical application;
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in prospecting and developing new markets for the Screening business;
  • Excellent budget, stress management, communication and presentation skills;
  • Technical aptitude;
  • Proven organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management and meeting deadlines, detail orientated;
  • High energy, pro-active with an ability to think fast and innovatively;
  • 5+ years of proven SaaS / Enterprise Sales Experience;
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently;
  • Minimum 2-3 years Sales Management experience (managing both Internal Sales and Sales Reps);
  • Relevant qualification — advantageous;
  • Experience required in Retail / Hardware / Steel & Tube;
