Regional Sales Manager

Plan, direct, or coordinate the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.

Our company is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Achievement of top line sales objectives;
  • Manage allocated budget and Maximize ROI;
  • Identifying risk internally and externally to develop pre-cautionary measures;
  • Identifying and investigate opportunities within the market;
  • Communicating and meeting with staff on sales matters and trends;
  • Coaching and mentoring of the branch’s junior management/supervisory staff;
  • Maintain and establish relationships with commercial and retail customers;
  • Planning and executing of long — and short — term sales strategies;

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification is business administration will be highly advantageous;
  • At least 8 years’ experience in a sales/business development role preferably in Information Services/ Warehousing/ Logistics or similar environment;
  • Must be a team player;
  • Diploma or Degree in business management or involved in sales or marketing essential;
  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales management position involved in business development and mentoring a sales team;
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and in writing;
  • 3 year Degree/Diploma/Higher Diploma in Sales/Marketing/Retail Management;
  • Grade 12 (Matric);
  • Must have experience in tender document preparation;
  • Willing and able to travel extensively between branches nationwide;
  • Account management experience in document management and archival related or similar industry sales will be preferable;
  • Must have excellent track record in meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets;
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Very strong leadership skills;
  • Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
