Manager: Parts / Agri Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Manager: Parts / Agri to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Organising, coordinating and attending Farmers days, agricultural events and marketing conferences;
- Plan bi-annual stock takes;
- Daily liaison with the general manager (DP) for outstanding parts on workshop carry-overs;
- Liaise with suppliers on back orders;
- Hold regular meetings/reviews with staff to improve business growth;
- Perform daily checks on stock takes and ordering;
- Motivate staff to sell;
- Experience with a renowned Dealer Management System is required;
- Identifying, developing and establishing new markets within Southern Africa and Mozambique;
- Developing and distributing strategies and marketing plans for the product range;
- Analyse management accounts and take required corrective measures;
- Ensuring Sales Team and Technical Advisors are trained on the application of specific AGRI products;
- Inventory control perform daily stock checks on at least 20 part numbers, and delegate perpetuals;
- Monitoring market trends and changes and adjusting distribution channels accordingly;
- Liaising with Senior Management regarding new product opportunities.
Requirements:
- AVCASA accreditation, will be an advantage;
- a B.Tech. Agric or B.Sc. Agric degree, strong advantage;
- Matric.
