Our company is looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquiring new business;
  • Generate trade contact reports and deal sheets;
  • Service appointed Distribution Partners within Territory,
  • Generate new business development opportunities;
  • Negotiate annual trade agreements and price agreements;
  • Develop Pricing and Marketing Strategies, Manage PSI,
  • Act as lead point of contact for sales and merchandising agents — maximise sales, dstribution and presentation of products;
  • Reviewing sales performance;
  • Demonstrating and presenting products;
  • Manage Distributor Payments and Facilities,
  • Manage Virgin Mobile Call Centres and Marketing Initiatives;
  • Manage key customer accounts — sales and profitability;
  • Present Product Roadmaps,
  • Maintain accurate records;
  • Build and manage strong customer relationships.

Requirements:

  • Willing and able to travel;
  • Computer literate in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Able to negotiate;
  • Able to work independently;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Experience of managing major national accounts at head office level;
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to communicate with team members and management on a daily basis;
  • Field Services (in planning stage): Installation Fitment Technicians, Field Service Advisor, MOS, Costing Clerk;
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role;
  • Highly self-motivated;
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing;
  • Extremely detail-oriented;
  • Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales and display an attitude that is key to success;
  • Experience in the FMCG / Packaging industry;
  • Ability to be a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
