Our company is looking for a HR Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Disciplinary procedures;
  • Injury on duty / Compensation Commissioner;
  • Training and development;
  • Employee Productivity;
  • Wage agreements;
  • Manage talent from sourcing through development to ensure strategic objectives are met;
  • Managing the Employee Life Cycle from application to exit interview;
  • Assist line management in all matters of an IR nature and represent the business at CCMA as required;
  • Managing and conducting an efficient Recruitment Process;
  • Guide and inform line managers and employees in regards to remuneration and applicable benefits;
  • Comply with all legal requirements to ensure all risk to the business is eliminated — including statutory submissions;
  • Disciplinary processes;

  • Planning, Budgeting and Reporting.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources;
  • People oriented and results driven;
  • Metal Industry Experience (MEIBC);
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices;
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in an HR Generalist role with exposure to BBBEE;
  • Matric/ Grade 12 Certificate;
  • Hands-on and proactive approach;
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills;
  • Training and development skills essential;
  • Experience working in an international company ( must have experience dealing with colleagues overseas);
  • Minimum 5 years’ in a management role;
  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and work ethic;
  • Agency / creative industry experience;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Good understanding of South African labour laws and practices.
