HR Intern Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a HR Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the HR team with all HR administration, which will include: Administration and coordination of all staff files;
  • Updating the companys internal platform with employee details;
  • Collating course related data, including confirmation of training venues and dates;
  • Assist with induction and orientation of new staff, compiling welcome and starter packs;
  • Organizing and completing all recruitment administration on monthly basis;
  • Managing the recruitment inbox — responding to all applications and passing cv’s to the HR Manager for further consideration;
  • Ensure that all HR filing and archiving is up-to-date;
  • Processing of training invoices for payment;
  • Assist with ESS and leave queries;
  • Coordination of internal and external training;
  • Preparing and compiling interviews packs;
  • Reminding line managers of new employee start dates;
  • Keeping record and timesheets of all external and internal training;
  • Maintaining the HR calendar and assisting the HR Manager with the scheduling of various programs including performance reviews, EE submissions etc;
  • Ensure timeous submission of new employee information packs to payroll programs.

Requirements:

  • 1 years’ experience in payroll administration / coordination;
  • Matric;
  • 1 —2 year experience in an HR environment;
  • Diploma or Degree in HR Management or industrial psychology.
