Our company is looking for a Business Advisor: New Business Development to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Convert leads provided by the Business Intelligence Agents (BIA) team and marketing division (30%);
  • Sell SME focused financial lending products;
  • Generate, qualify and research sales leads (70%);
  • Manage objections and remain motivated and focussed to convert sales leads;
  • Build a solid pipeline for the business and achieve business growth objectives;
  • Follow a well-constructed sales process;
  • Achieve monthly targets.

Requirements:

  • Looking for a HUNTER;
  • Proven track record of compiling and delivering proposals;
  • Sound understanding of the SME business landscape;
  • Min. 5 -7 years’ experience in the financial services preferably in a sales environment (complex financial products);
  • Proven track record of new business development in B2B sales;
  • Ability to engage with a variety of people from different demographics, industries and level of education;
  • MS Office Suite (Word + Excel);
  • Proven ability to uncover a need – sifting through information to find relevance;
  • Demonstrated understanding of how to interpret SME financials;
  • Proven ability to complete needs analysis with prospective clients with a focus on accurate application completion;
  • Secured lending or similar sales environment — ideal.
