Our company is looking for a Business Advisor: New Business Development to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Convert leads provided by the Business Intelligence Agents (BIA) team and marketing division (30%);
- Sell SME focused financial lending products;
- Generate, qualify and research sales leads (70%);
- Manage objections and remain motivated and focussed to convert sales leads;
- Build a solid pipeline for the business and achieve business growth objectives;
- Follow a well-constructed sales process;
- Achieve monthly targets.
Requirements:
- Looking for a HUNTER;
- Proven track record of compiling and delivering proposals;
- Sound understanding of the SME business landscape;
- Min. 5 -7 years’ experience in the financial services preferably in a sales environment (complex financial products);
- Proven track record of new business development in B2B sales;
- Ability to engage with a variety of people from different demographics, industries and level of education;
- MS Office Suite (Word + Excel);
- Proven ability to uncover a need – sifting through information to find relevance;
- Demonstrated understanding of how to interpret SME financials;
- Proven ability to complete needs analysis with prospective clients with a focus on accurate application completion;
- Secured lending or similar sales environment — ideal.
