Our company is looking for a Chef to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel;
- Keep abreast with the latest food and industry trends;
- Understand visitors’ preferences and make suggestions based on findings;
- Check quality of material and condition of equipment;
- Prepare menus;
- Monitor supplies and ingredients necessary for daily operations;
- Maintain a clean cooking station;
- Adhere to health and safety standards;
- Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread;
- Train, guide and motivate pastry assistants;
- Plan, implement and manage daily operations;
- Suggest new menu items.
Requirements:
- Waste control;
- Relevant qualification;
- Menu Planning;
- Ability to cater for 180 staff per day;
- Experience in Healthy Food, Main Item Food and pastries/desserts.
